7AI Nears $100M Cybersecurity Round

7AI, a cybersecurity startup from Cybereason co-founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, is nearing a US$100 million raise from investors including Index Ventures. The company develops AI-driven tools for automated incident response and runs an R&D center in Israel, with Div as CEO and Striem-Amit as CTO.

Investor Confidence Despite Market Volatility. The reported US$100 million round suggests strong early confidence in 7AI’s agentic SOC technology. The company cites more than 568,000 alerts handled and US$11.2 million in productivity savings since February, though it has not clarified how many deployments are paid versus pilots.

A Bet on Agentic Security Systems. 7AI already runs in large enterprise environments, including a notable agentic deployment at DXC. With Gartner projecting high cancellation rates for agentic AI projects and warning of “agent washing,” the scale and seriousness of 7AI’s deployments will be closely watched.

Early Opportunities for Integrations. Because 7AI connects across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network domains, security vendors have an opening for early integrations before agentic SOC tools mature. MSSPs and consulting partners can also package deployment and workflow-alignment services to capture demand from early adopters.

7AI’s potential US$100 million round positions it as one of the most heavily backed entrants in the emerging agentic cybersecurity category, with investors betting on automated response as a defining shift in security operations.
